  • I understand the sensitivities and reputational risks to individuals and organizations when a complaint of sexual misconduct is made. With discretion, dignity and confidentiality, I work with organizations to determine the most appropriate approach and response. My experience directing, leading and conducting investigations in government oversight, regulatory, union and post-secondary environments has impressed upon me the fundamental importance of fairness and independence as well as a deep understanding of trauma and compassion.

  • In addition to conducting investigations, I will work with your organization over the long-term to provide guidance including training and education, policy and procedure review and advising.

Increased awareness helps employers avoid and/or mitigate reputational harm and costs associated with complaints which may become high-profile, as many sexual misconduct complaints do.

  • I work with public and private companies to identify where there may be vulnerabilities and opportunities for strengthening internal policies relating to sexual misconduct and respectful workplace conduct. This assists with prevention and risk-mitigation to an organization, both internally and externally.
